The “Voices of the Earthmind” series is a collaboration of poetry and music. I and the incredibly talented musician Paulito Muse combine our arts, blending audio and verse in order to paint ever-shifting emotional landscapes within the listener’s mind. “Voices of the Earthmind” calls for stillness, attention, and imagination. Pual and I have come to understand that today’s demands deprioritize the need to nourish these particular qualities. What we aim to do with this work is to remind the listener that these core human elements are still a part of them. With just a little guidance from these tracks, and a willingness to close their eyes and trust, the listener can once again open the window of their mind to peer out at the infinite potential that is their heart.
